Medical carriers Blue Shield and HealthNet along with Cigna offer an add-on called Health Savings Account (HSA) for alternative services. Check with your provider to see what you can spend in the alternative category. An (HSA) normally has a $5000.00 annual limit and can be used for services and products that are not covered by regular insurance, so check with your carrier to see if this is an option with your medical plan.
